Marilyn Jean Nutt, 67, of Belvidere went to be with her heavenly father Friday afternoon October 27, 2006 in her home after a lingering illness. Marilyn was born May 16, 1939 in Rochelle, IL the daughter of Roland G. and Violet (McCaslin) Luckey. The family moved to the Cherry Valley area in 1941. Marilyn graduated from Boone County schools. She married Wilbur Nutt on August 13, 1960 in Belvidere. Marilyn worked in retail for K-Mart for many years. In her spare time, she was involved in 4-H, Active in Washington Elementary School as an aide and was a former Sunday school and Bible School Teacher in Belvidere.Survivors include her husband, Wilbur of Belvidere; children, Tom (Perla) Nutt of Belvidere, Carol Rosenquist of Lindenwood; grandchildren, Desiree, Danielle, Shale, Cassius Rosenquist, David and Carrie Castro; brother, Ken (Joan) Luckey of Cherry Valley; sister in-law Doris Luckey and many nieces and nephews. Marilyn is predeceased by her parents, Brother Robert Luckey, Sister Audrey Luckey and one niece.
