Marilyn J. Kruschel was born August 11, 1932 in Elgin, Illinois to Frederick and Marie (Awe) Koch. She was a graduate of Elgin High School and lived in the Elgin, Illinois area until moving to Belvidere, Illinois 20 years ago. Marilyn worked for the Elgin Credit Union followed by the Belvidere Bank in the Collections Dept. She was an Avon representative for the past 25 years. She enjoyed her computer games on Facebook which included Farmtown, Zoo World, Petville and Farmville, as well as various Pogo games.Marilyn is survived by her eight children, William (Lori) Wascher of Hampshire, IL, Mary Ann (Frank) Leone of Sanibel, FL, Jane (James) Kawa of Elgin, IL, Jean (Michael) Pickles of Hampshire, IL, John (Laurie) Wascher of Olympia, WA, Patrick Kruschel of Elgin, IL, Paul Kruschel of Belvidere, IL, Lori (John) Irvin of Marian, IL, twenty Grandchildren, sixteen Great-Grandchildren, Barb Perkins her oldest friend and Mary Lou Roellig her Godchild and best friend.She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter Sue Ann (Terry) Volk.
