Marilyn Reynolds Fleming, (lovingly known as "Granny") 75, of Belvidere, IL passed away unexpectedly at St. Anthony's Hospital in Rockford, IL on January 7, 2008. She was born the last of eight children to William Benjamin Reynolds and Mildred Victoria Anderson on February 19, 1932.Marilyn married David Howes Fleming on November 23, 1952 in Belvidere, IL. Together they raised three children: William, Jill and Lisa Ruth. Marilyn and David lived most of their married lives in Mundelein, IL. When David retired from his teaching career, they moved back to Belvidere, IL where they lived in their beloved home on their farm.Marilyn is survived by her children: William, Jill Baldino and Lisa Ruth Fleming; grandchildren: Katie Baldino, Christina Smith and Stefanie Fleming, seven great-grandchildren and her beloved Golden Retriever, Corky. She is also survived by her sister, Shirley (Sellers) & Dennis Martin; nephew, Randall (Linda) Sellers; nieces, Julie (David) Claeyssens, Paula (Bill) Hart and a host of great-nieces and nephews that will greatly miss her. The family would also like to extend a special thank-you to the numerous friends and neighbors who have selflessly loved and supported Marilyn over the years.Marilyn was predeceased by her parents, William and Mildred, her husband, David, brothers, Russell and William and sisters, Maureen and Betty Reynolds, Ruth (Kenny) Graves and Lucille (Dorn) Spickler.

A memorial is being established in Marilyn's name to the following organizations, Klehm Arboretum and Botanical Garden and P.A.W.S. (Pets Are Worth Saving).
