Marguerite H. Bible, 94, of Belvidere, IL died peacefully, Friday morning, August 29, 2014 in the comfort of her daughter's home.  Marguerite was born July 1, 1920 in Poplar Grove, IL the daughter of Alfred and Augusta (Deithloff) Larson.  She married Mr. Robert V. Bible on December 22, 1950 in Colorado Springs, CO.  Marguerite worked 25 years for W.H. Pyle's Grocery Store and then for Belvidere Farmer's Mutual Insurance.  Marguerite was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church where she was involved with the Ladies Guild, Christ care Group, various Bible studies and a former offering counter.  She was a lifetime member of both the American Legion and VFW Auxiliaries.  Marguerite bowled for over 50 years at Concordia Lanes, and loved supporting the Chicago Bears, Bulls and Cubs.

Marguerite is loved and will be missed by her daughter, Vickie Kelly of Rockford; grandson, Steven Kelly of Rockford; step-granddaughter Julie Shown of Knoxville, TN; step great-granddaughter, Ashton Shown; two nieces and two nephews; her beloved cats, Pepito and Ki-Ki.  Marguerite is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert; brothers, Clifford "Al" Larson, Paul Larson; sisters, Elvira Dahlstrand, Pauline Larson, Loretta Cole.

The family acknowledges the love and care given by Heartland Hospice, especially Claudine R.N and Misty C.N.A. and others who assisted in Marguerite's care.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 5, 2014 in Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1045 E. Belvidere Rd., Belvidere, IL with Rev. Allan Buss officiating.  Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday at the church.  Burial in Belvidere Cemetery.  Memorials can be given in Marguerite's name to Immanuel Lutheran Church.  Arrangements by Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services at Buck-Wheeler-Hyland Chapel, 218 W.
