Margaret Sipe, 85 of Belvidere, formerly of Garden Prairie, passed away peacefully, Monday, March 2, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Margaret was born May 14, 1929 in Morristown, TN, daughter of Lester and Annie (Nolan) Turner. She married Riley Lee Sipe on February 7, 1945 in Mohawk, TN. He preceded her in death on April 9, 2002. Margaret was employed by Arnold Engineering in Marengo, IL. Her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren were the biggest joys in her life. Margaret enjoyed gardening, sewing and making crafts.

Margaret is loved and will be deeply missed by her children, Carl (Corrine Dembkowski) Sipe, Wanda (Bill) Goetz, Jenny (Raymond) Montgomery, Helen (Eric) Fawbush, Nellie (Juan) Martinez, Mary (Tim) Lucido, David Sipe, Rick (Tina Schultz) Sipe, Shirley (Jason) Six, Cheyenne Sipe; 35 plus grandchildren; 50 plus great-grandchildren; 10 plus great-great grandchildren; sisters, Lizzy Voiles, Mary Ann Davis. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Riley; several brothers and sisters; grandchildren, Marie Ann Goetz, Margaret Ruth Sipe, Michelle Montgomery; great-grandchildren, Lauren Haley Carey, Jacob Sandersfeld, Jessica Sarto.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 West Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL with Rev. Dean Parker officiating. Visitation will be held from 4-8 P.M., Friday, March 6, 2015 at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Garden Prairie Cemetery.
