Margaret Martenson, 91, of Belvidere, IL, died peacefully, July 20, 2022, in Belvidere. She was born March 31, 1931, in Cumberland, Iowa, daughter of Willard Rhodes and Grace (Vedane) Rhodes. She graduated high school and married her first husband, Myron Denham in 1950 who passed in 1970. She then married her second husband, Marvin Martenson in 1972, passing in 1995. She was a homemaker for many years and loved Bingo, Find A Word word search books, Casinos, Bowling and coffee clutch.

Margaret is loved and will be missed by her daughter, Janet (Jeff) Barr and son, Todd (Lynn) Denham; grandchildren, Rebecca, Sarah, and Rachel Denham; great- granddaughter, Autumn Denham; two special nieces, Debbie (Fred) Wohlenhaus and Kathy (Francis) Cullen; and nephew, Tom (Janet) Denham.

She is preceded by her parents; husbands; and brother, Ronald.

A visitation will be at 10 a.m., until the time of service, Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, IL, 61008. Funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. Rev. Jim Bell will officiate. Burial at Highland Garden of Memories. In her honor, memorials to the family.
