Margaret A. Huffman, 77, of Rockford, formerly of Belvidere, died Thursday, January 3, 2008 in Nelson-Debes Subacute following a brief illness. Born September 5, 1930 in Lanive, Arkansas, the daughter of Charlie P. and Mazie (King) Bandy. She married Woodrow Holland in Lanive, Ark. On October 9, 1946. He died October 21, 1989. She worked as a Packer for Green Giant for ten years before retiring in 1983. She attended Arkansas schools. She is survived by five children, Lannie Holland, Pocahontas, Ark; Viola Meyers, Poplar Grove, Ill.; Debra (Larry) Persoon, Davis, Ill.; William (Susan) Holland and Donna Garcia both of Belvidere, Ill.; 9 grandchildren, Ann (Ken) Ware, Shannon (Sophie) Holland, James (Amy) McIntyre, Susan (Ryan) McIntyre, Brandon Persoon, Erin Persoon, Amanda (Adam) Holland, Starla Holland, Jesus Garcia; 7 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charles (Kathryn) Bandy, Machesney Park, Ill.; W.L. (Carol) Bandy, Marietta, GA. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Ronnie and Larry Holland and granddaughter, Tonya McIntyre.
