Margaret M. Bean, 90, of Poplar Grove, Ill. died Tuesday, December 19, 2006 in the home of her daughter following a lingering illness. She was born February 12, 1916 in Glasgow, Scotland, the daughter of Alexander and Jeanne (Campbell) Brown. She worked on the assembly line for the Admiral Corp. in Harvard and GTE in Genoa, Ill. Margaret attended Belvidere area schools. She is survived by her daughter, Jean (Gary) West, of Rockford and brother, John Brown, of Marengo, Ill. She is preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Roberta K. Wright; sister, Marion H. Ferguson and sister-in-law, Marsha Brown.
