Manuel Diaz, 80, of Belvidere IL, passed away, Wednesday, February 24, 2016 in his son's home surrounded by his loving family. Born February 14, 1936 in Hundacareo, Mich, Mexico, son of Refugio and Ignacia (Murillo) Diaz. He married Cecilia Lopez. Manuel was employed as a landscaper. He was a member of Saint James Catholic Church.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at Saint James Catholic Church, 535 Caswell St, Belvidere, IL 61008 with Father Schuessler officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00-7:00 p.m., Sunday, February 28, 2016 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008.
