Belvidere, ILMable F. Soderberg, 94, of Belvidere, IL died peacefully, June 5, 2009 in Northwoods Care Center. Mable was born May 21, 1915 in Stoddard, Wisconsin the daughter of Otto and Minnie (Kapanke) Schwake. Mable married Elmer A. Soderberg on April 27, 1935 in Woodstock. She was a resident of Belvidere since 1950 coming from LaCrosse, Wisconsin. Over the years she worked as a clerk for Arnold Johnson Paint Store and Dague Decorators. Mable was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Young at Heart of Immanuel and was also a member of the 60's and over group.Survivors include her granddaughters Joyce (Mark) Loewecke, of Caledonia, Julie (Randy) Hansen of Loves Park, Terry (David) Sohn of California; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great grandsons; son in-law, Leon (Shirley) Berg of Loves Park.Mable is predeceased by her parents, husband, Elmer; daughter, Jean Berg; two sisters and one brother.

A memorial will be established with Immanuel Lutheran Church in Mable's memory.
