Mabel Mary Caquelin, 93, of Kankakee, Illinois died Thursday, March 31, 2005 in St. Mary's Hospital, Kankakee, Illinois after a short illness. Mabel was born June 2, 1911 in Hampshire, Illinois the daughter of George W. and Mary (Herrmann) Butz. She married Frank B. Gorham in Belvidere, Illinois on July 8, 1933, he predeceased her on August 24, 1945; she then married Rolland G. Caquelin on December 27, 1947 in Belvidere, Il, and he predeceased he on September 9, 1991. Mabel loved to sew as well as collect and try food recipes. Survivors include her daughters, Phyllis Gorham Hengl and Sharon (Thomas) Shull both of Kankakee, Il; grandchildren, Suzanne Shull, Brooks (Catherine) Shull and Michele Hengl; sisters, Mildred Heshelman of Janesville, WI, Garnet Roland and Dorothy (Lawrence) Knudson both of DeKalb, IL; brother in-law, Arthur Peterson, Rockford, IL; sister in-laws, Ruby Butz and Emma Butz both of Belvidere, ILShe is predeceased by her husbands; brothers, Edward, George, Louis, Charles, Lester, Richard, Vyrl; sisters, Helen, Leona, Margaret, Vera, Evelyn, Odellia, Katherine, Mary and one infant sister.
