Lyle W. Zellner, 59, of Cherry Valley, IL, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, August 9, 2016 in his home. Lyle was born March 26, 1957 in Rockford, IL, son of Kenneth and Marion (Hoppe) Zellner. Lyle served his country in the United States Army. He married the love of his life, Brenda Bye on October 27, 1999. Lyle owned and operated Top Notch Tool and Supply, Inc, for many years. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, gardening and baseball.

Lyle is loved and missed by his wife, Brenda; step-sons, Scot Sell and Stuart (Michelle) Sell; grandchildren, Alexis Sell and Damon Timmerman; mother, Marion Zellner; siblings, Gloria (Murli) Hinduja, Duane (Renee) Zellner, Marilee (Edward) Velazquez, Janine (Brian) Talley, and Edward (Tracey) Zellner; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Lyle is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth, and brother, Brian Zellner.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, August, 20, 2016 at First Presbyterian Church, 221 N. Main St. with Rev. Troy Snyder and Rev. Dr. Robert Kopp co-officiating. There will be a visitation held from 5-8 p.m., Friday, August 19, 2016 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008. Burial in Shattuck's Grove Cemetery.
