Lucille E. Wooley, 93, of Belvidere, IL, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, August 22, 2016 at Maple Crest Care Center. Lucille was born December 16, 1922 in Janesville, WI, adopted daughter of Martin and Eva (Rahbar) Lawtenslager, and biological daughter of Paul and Hazel Wolff. She married Franklin Wooley on August 24, 1940 in Marshall, WI. Lucille was a faithful member of More to Life Ministries in Belvidere. She enjoyed reading scripture, coloring and working on puzzle books in her spare time. Most of all, she loved being with her large family.

Lucille is loved and missed by her children, Eva (Merle) Davis, Lucille (Jerry) Garski, Martin (Pat) Wooley, Richard (Roswitha) Wooley, Brenda Wooley, Lora Mujica, and Frances (Alan) Helgerson: special grandchildren, Brittney (Brandon) Ragan, and Juan Arellano; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; daughters-in-law, Naomi Wooley, and Diane Wooley. She is preceded in death by her husband, Franklin; sons, Franklin, Willard, and David; daughter, Viola; and sister, Myrtle Endl.

A special thank you to Maple Crest Care Center for their compassion and loving care of Lucille during her stay. She created a lot of special friendships, and was considered to be one of the sweetest people by residents and staff.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, August 26, 2016, at More to Life Ministries, 420 W. Boone Street, Belvidere, IL 61008 with Pastor Timothy Koonce officiating.
