Lucille E. Nedved, 87, of Chicago, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Northwoods Care Center in Belvidere. She was born July 27, 1930 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Chester and Emma Schlawin. Lucille retired from Central Steel and Wire, where she worked as an accountant. She enjoyed needlepoint, and volunteering at church, in numerous capacities. Lucille made her spiritual home at Saint Paul's Lutheran Church in Chicago.

She is loved and will be missed by her son, Russell J. Luchtenburg, and daughter, Lynn Marie Luchtenburg. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother.
