Lucille E.V. "Sally" Austin, 94, of Belvidere, died Friday, April 4, 2008 in Maple Crest Nursing Home following a long illness. Born November 30, 1913 in Boone County, Illinois, the daughter of Fred and Mary (Juehrs) Vowles. Married to Floyd F. Austin in Marengo, Ill. on October 26, 1940. He died in 1996. Sally and Floyd were farm owners. She is survived by three sisters, Hilda Meinheit, Belvidere; Virginia Clary, Oak Grove, Missouri; Harriet Draves, Denver, Colorado; In addition to her husband, Sally is preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Alice Swanson and two brothers, Marion and Edward Vowles.
