Luanne June Carlton, 87, of Belvidere, IL, went to be with the Lord on September 17, 2023. She passed away in her home surrounded by family. Luanne was born on June 19, 1936 in Belvidere, the daughter of Ethel (Fairgrieves) and Axel Larson. She was a deeply devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She always put family first. Luanne was a talented cook, and enjoyed hosting holiday dinners. She was an avid reader and loved to appreciate the Amish culture with literature and keepsakes. Luanne was a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church in Belvidere and had strong faith. She would often assist the church in luncheons and had a strong community of friends there. Luanne also served as an election judge in Boone county. She loved ceramics, reading, and above all her family. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy. She will be missed by many.

Left to cherish her memory is her children, Teddy (Aidee) Carlton, Peggy Revolinski, and Alice Gapinski; grandchildren, Abigail (Chris) Martin, Ryan (Alicia) Carlton, Sadie (Cody) Fowler, Chad (Holly) Revolinski, Danielle (Ryan) Vetter, Nathan Walton (Lori), Jeremy (Lori) Walton, Russell Walton (Jen), Corine Gapinski, Allison Walton (Jimmie), and Calsey (Sam) Fernandez; 17 great-grandchildren, and her four legged friends, Hickory, Chainsaw, and Sissy-who stayed with Luanne and provided her comfort until the very end. She is welcomed into heaven by her husband, Ronald Mervin Carlton; her parents; as well as her siblings; and son-in-law, Matthew Revolinski. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Ruthie Gryder, and her caregivers Analyn, Erica, and Larry as well as Transitions Hospice for their dedicated care.

Luanne's visitation will be Tuesday, September 26th between the hours of 5-7pm at Anderson Funeral & Cremation Services, located at 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, IL 61008. A second visitation will be Wednesday, September 27th at 10am at Andersons. A funeral service is to follow at 11am. Burial will be at Highland Garden of Memories.
