Belvidere, ILLoyd E. Mayberry, 67, of Rockford, IL, formerly of Belvidere, passed away on Sunday, September 8th, 2013 in his home surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on April 23, 1946 in Flora, IL, the son of Thomas and Mary Grace (Edwards) Mayberry. Loyd was married to Becky Schwartz. He served in the United States Army as a combat soldier in Vietnam. Loyd worked at Chrysler Corporation from 1967-1998. His biggest joys in life were his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed hobby farming and riding motorcycles, especially charity runs.Loyd is survived by his wife, Becky; his children, Brad (Richel) Mayberry of Davis Junction, IL, Paula Mayberry of Belvidere, IL, Matt (Amy) Mayberry of Roscoe, IL, Mike (Allison) Mayberry of Rockford, IL and Sarah Wixom of Benton, IL; grandchildren Austin, Kallon, Preston, Lilah, Grace, Karlie, and Kaiden; siblings Ruby Cluck of Benton, IL, Jimmy Mayberry of Flora, IL, and Sue Brown of Carrier Mills, IL. He is predeceased by his parents, brother Art and sister Helen.
