Belvidere, ILLowell W. Feltz, 77, of Belvidere, IL died peacefully Thursday, September 6, 2012 in OSF St. Anthony Medical Center after a lingering illness. Lowell was born January 6, 1935 in Belvidere, IL the son of Harold W. and Mildred A. (Montgomery) Feltz. He married Patsy Hammond on September 7, 1962 in Belvidere, IL at Immanuel Lutheran Church, where he was a member. Lowell retired from Belvidere Junior High School. He served our country in the US Naval Reserves and was a member of the American Legion Boone Post 77 and the John Hugo Kaiser Post 1461VFW.Lowell is loved and will be missed by his wife Patsy of Belvidere; children Daniel (Debra) of Chandler, AZ, Deb (Leigh) Squires of S. Dakota, Matthew of Belvidere; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; sister Melody Spearing of Belvidere; his close friend and helper Michael Pitner. Lowell is predeceased by his parents and brothers Loren and Van.

A memorial will be established in Lowell's name.
