Lovina Haun Baird, 54, of Belvidere Illinois died Tuesday afternoon, December 28, 2004 in O.S.F. St. Anthony Hospital due to complications from Syringomyelia. She was born August 29, 1950 in Newport, Rhode Island to Harold and Virginia (Avera) Haun. She moved to Belvidere in 2001, coming here from Elgin, Illinois. Lovina was employed as a vault supervisor for the former Home Federal Savings and Loan for 15 years retiring in 1996. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Elgin, Illinois, Alcoholics Anonymous as well as having attained 27 years of sobriety. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, gardening, and sewing. She also enjoyed hanging out with her grandchildren.Lovina is survived by three children, Marian Hernandez, Rockford, Illinois; Megan (John) Narofsky, Streamwood, Illinois; James Baird, Rockford, Illinois;Seven grandchildren, Anthony and Robert Hernandez; Cheyenne Herrera; Angelica Baird; Nathan, Jared and Matthew Narofsky;Mother, Virginia Haun;Sister, Mary Haun; three brothers, Wesley, Karl and Harry Haun; Predeceased by Father and Brother Harold Haun.Memorial Service 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 4, 2005 in Buck-Wheeler-Hyland Funeral Home 218 W. Hurlbut Av. Belvidere, Illinois.
