Obituary

Rockford, ILLouise Nimtz, formerly of Garden Prairie went to be with her Lord November 9, 2012.Louise was born June 5, 1923 in Waterman, Illinois to Emile and Lucie Scheidecker. She attended Rooster Country School and graduatedHinckley High. She worked at Wurlitzer PianoFactory in DeKalb before marrying Lloyd W. Nimtz February 24, 1951. Louise and Lloyd lived on the Nimtz family farm in Garden Prairie for 52 years before moving to Bickford House in Rockford. She enjoyed homemaking, sewing, antique collecting and was an avid painter; painting yard decorations as well as on milk cans, wood saws, dishes and oil on canvas. She and Lloyd frequently enjoyed Sunday drives and picnics in the country.She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Lloyd, her parents, her sisters Lucille and Marguerite and her brothers George and Gustave. She is survived by her niece, Linda (Bob) Kavalunas, and nephew, Dale (Sharon) Evans, and great nieces and nephews Kristi and Matt Kavalunas and Megan (Brandon) Evans-Rodriguez and Eric Evans.
