Louie Rowe, 80, of Poplar Grove, IL, passed away, Thursday, June 30, 2022. Louie was born January 7, 1942, the son of Louie and Moudie (Smith) Rowe, in Wilson, AR. Louie was a proud iron worker for the Local 498. He enjoyed bee keeping on the farm and taking road trips with his wife, Babette.

Louie is loved and will be missed by his wife of 42 years, Babette; his sons, Jamison (Tammy) Scott, Raymond (Judy) Malisheski; his daughters, Karen (Dan Fish) Scott-Fish, Alicia (Scott) Graham, Kimberly (Brian) Schlomann; his brother, Ottie (Mary) Rowe; his sisters, Marie Hardy, Phyllis (Steve) Olsen, Teresa (David) Davis; his 13 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Louie is preceded in death by his parents, Louie and Moudie Rowe, and his brother in law, Dale Hardy.

Louie's visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m., until time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 8, 2022, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1045 Belvidere Rd., Belvidere, IL 61008. Burial to follow at Belvidere Cemetery, 1121 N. Main St., Belvidere, IL 61008. Pastor Keith Richard will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be donated to Immanuel Lutheran Church or to the family.
