Lorraine A. Turvold, 81, of Belvidere, died Wednesday, October 30, 2013 in O.S.F. St. Anthony Medical Center after a lengthy illness. Born March 24, 1932 in Austin, MN; the daughter of Joseph R. and Selma A. (Lee) Williamson. On May 8, 1949, she married Merlin S. Turvold in Austin, MN. She was employed as a housekeeper. Lorraine was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. She was survived by her children, Marcene (Gary) Collins, Deer Creek, MN; Cindy ("Buzz") Metzger, Loves Park, IL; Rick Turvold, Belvidere; Troy (Pam) Turvold, Roscoe, IL; Todd Turvold, Carthage, MO; 14 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; a sister, Sylvia Swenson; 2 sister-in-laws, Syrlene Williamson, Phyllis Turvold. Preceded in death by parents, husband, son, Randy; daughter, Denise Olson; 2 sisters and 5 brothers.
