Belvidere, ILLoren C. Walker, 55, of Belvidere, IL died Wednesday, August 10, 2011 in OSF St. Anthony Medical Center after a short illness. Loren was born October 20, 1955 in Belvidere, IL the son of Francis and Gertrude (Walberg) Walker. Loren was a longtime automobile body-man for various repair shops, most recently working for Crash 1. He enjoyed collecting cars.Loren is survived by his father, Francis; children Angie (Tom Hughart) Walker of Machesney Park, Tobi (Jim) Ditemeger of Swartz Creek, MI, Bobbi (Brad Hammer) Walker of Belvidere, Ryan (Tara) Walker of Belvidere, Kyle Walker of Belvidere; grandchildren Danielle Hammer, Lyndsey Hammer, Kailey Hughart, Tristen Hammer, Allie Hammer, Madysen Gifford, Joshua Hughart, Abigayle Hughart, Zachary Walker; great-grandchild Quinn Hammer; sister Linda Ball of Belvidere; brothers Larry (Joanne) Walker of Rockford, Lon Walker of Belvidere, Lyle (Dorothy) Walker of Belvidere; nieces, nephews and cousins; special friend Pam Epperson of Machesney Park.Loren is predeceased by his mother and niece Jessica Ball.
