Loraine M. Sikkink, 93, of Belvidere, past away peacefully on Wednesday, December 17, 2008 in Northwoods Care Center. Born February 6, 1915 in Grand Meadow, MN; the daughter of Henry and Louise Younge. She married Elmer "Riley" McGhie June 5, 1937 and raised their family in Spring Valley, MN. During these years, Loraine worked at several places in the Spring Valley area. "Riley" died July 7, 1975. Loraine married Verl Sikkink in 1978. Verl past away in 2004. Loraine enjoyed traveling. She is survived by two sons, Curtis (Carolyn) McGhie, Belvidere; Steve (Sandy) McGhie, Rochester, MN; two sisters, Byrdeen Nelson, Anaheim, CA; Phyliss Seesholtz, Stockton, CA; one brother, Rodney Younge, Rochester, MN; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren: daughter-in-law, Pam (Carl) Hall, of Hawaii. Preceded in death by her parents, one brother, H. A. Younge; two husbands, and a son, Gary McGhie
