Lora Mae Cordray, 80, of Springfield, IL and formerly of Belvidere, IL died Sunday evening, December 31, 2006 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. Lora was born February 17, 1926 in Boone County, IL the daughter of Harley Lee and Marion Lucy (Wheelwright) Van Vleet. She married Francis Gail "Buck" Cordray on February 14, 1945, he predeceased her on January 26, 2006. Lora was a member of First United Methodist church of Belvidere and she enjoyed knitting, sewing, watching movies, reading and being involved in children's activities. Survivors include her children, Nancy (Jim) Covert of Springfield, Carol (Jim) Skorzak of Lincoln, IL and Randy Cordray of Mt. Vernon, IL; sister, Helen Leander of Rochelle, IL; brothers, James (Lois) Van Vleet of North Olmstead, OH and Robert Van Vleet of Rio Bravo, TX; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A memorial will be established with the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society in her name.
