Hunter, IllinoisLola Jesse Ella (Nixon) Case, 90, of Hunter, IL died peacefully Thursday evening, April 12, 2007 in her home after a lingering illness. Lola was born November 9, 1916 the daughter of Leslie W. and Ruby (Nash) Nixon. Lola married Wilford Case on December 24, 1937 in Iowa and the two moved to Capron where they farmed. In 1952 Lola and Wilford moved to Hunter in rural Caledonia. She was a devoted stay at home mother who delighted in helping her children and grandchildren. She was very proud of her children's accomplishments. Lola was active in the Hunter United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the ladies aid, Sunday school teacher and a member of the Sunshine Club. Lola had a very strong faith and knew the Lord would take care of her no matter what.Survivors include her children, Irving (Kay) Case of Turtle Lake, WI, Patricia Garman of Hunter, IL, Dean (Bonnie) Case of Lima Center, WI; 6 Grandchildren, Doug Case, Allen (Mary Ann) Culver, Linda Culver, Deborah (Mark) Mason, James (Lily) Webster, Jill (Jason) Bristol; 11 Great Grandchildren; sister in-laws Wanda Nixon, Cecelia Nixon; aunt Eithel Jones, cousins, nieces, nephews and special family friend, Flossie Ellsworth.
