Lois L. Yeoward, 67, of Belvidere, died Tuesday, February 7, 2006 in O.S.F. St. Anthony Medical Center following a short illness. Born September 3, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois, daughter of Laurence Alvin and Aurora Elle (Oberg) Foss. She has lived in Belvidere, the past 2 years coming here from the Sycamore – DeKalb, Illinois area. Married to Jerald Yeoward in Rock Falls, Illinois. Employed as a Housekeeper for Vencor Hospital, Sycamore. Member of Grace Family Church. A lifetime member of both the Elks Club and Moose Club, both in DeKalb. She enjoyed chrocheting and reading in her spare time. Lois is survived by her four children, Christine (Doug) Landis, Sterling, Illinois; Michael (Anna) McCormick, Jr.; Patricia (Ivan) Hammond and Stephen (Sally) McCormick, all of Belvidere; 17 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; a sister, Beverly (Sam) Foss-Mylin, Janesville, Wisconsin and a brother Richard Foss, Ontario, California. Preceded in death by parents; husband; daughter, Cherri Lynn McCormick and granddaughter, Samantha McCormick.
