Belvidere, IllinoisLois Mae Mayberry, 89, of Belvidere, IL died peacefully in her home on Friday, April 1, 2011 surrounded by her loving family, after a lengthy illness. Lois lived 17 years in Belvidere; coming from Rockford. She was born October 21, 1921 in Poplar Grove, IL the daughter of LeRoy W. and Augusta (Hermanson) Bounds. Lois married Robert Mayberry on May 8, 1942 in Poplar Grove. She worked as an LPN for 15 years. Lois is loved and survived by her daughter Linda (David) Kerchner of Belvidere; grandsons Heath (Mary) and Shane (Kelly); great-grandchildren, Ivory, Rayne, Corbyn, Emma; sisters in-law, Alice Bounds, Doris Bounds and many nieces and nephews. Lois is predeceased by her parents, LeRoy and Augusta; husband, Robert; siblings, Ronald, Robert, Russell, Irene Stalhiem, Gladys Hopperstead, Norma Nelson, Elenore Bounds, Ardis Berg, Sylvia Mayberry; niece Bernice Heuer.The family acknowledges the love and care given by Lois' hospice nurse, Valerie Hughes-Reuss and home care giver, Byambaa "Emma" Ragchaa.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given in care of The American Cancer Society or The American Heart Association in Lois' name.
