Lloyd Max Janeway, 79, of Belvidere, IL passed away on July 22, 2023 in the comfort of his home. He was born and raised in Bulls Gap, Tennessee to Conley and Evelyn on April 9th 1944. In 1960 he moved to Belvidere. He worked for Central Rubber Company and then started his career at Dean Foods in 1965. Lloyd met and married Linda Ruth Franke Kesterson. They were married on May 27th 1966. The two of them owned and operated Belvidere Sanitary Service while he continued to work for Deans then retiring from Deans in 1996. Following his retirement, he worked at the Boone County Fairgrounds doing maintenance. After that he was employed as a maintenance engineer for Forest Health Services for 10 Years. During all of these years of working Lloyd and his wife Linda restored his 1949 Chevy pickup truck. The original truck he learned to drive in. In Lloyds spare time he loved NASCAR racing, being outdoors, and being with his family. He is loved and will be missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Linda of 57 years, his daughters, Phyllis and Ron Brown, Daralee and Jeff Bollock; and his son, Mike and Kim Janeway. He also loved and adored his 8 grandchildren; Jennifer, Emily and Matt Brown, Sara, McKenzie and Blake Bollock, Katarina and Makayla Janeway. He was also blessed to know and love 8 great-grandchildren; Izaiah, Jayden, Noah, Zoey, Aubree, Jillian, Lily and Paisley. Lloyd is survived by brother, Lawrence (Lisa); sister-in-law, Lois; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Conley and Evelyn; infant brother, Douglas; brothers, Marvin, Everett; and sister, Alma.

The family would like to thank Northern Illinois Hospice. Especially his caretakers Valerie and Danielle. As well as all of the family and friends that supported us in his time of need. Lloyd's visitation will be Thursday, July 27, 2023 between the hours of 5-7pm at Anderson Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Friday, July 28th at 3pm. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established at a later date.
