Lisa G. Harris, 53, of Belvidere, IL died peacefully, Friday morning, May 16, 2014 in Alden Nelson Debes in Rockford after a long illness.  Lisa was born January 30, 1961 in Belvidere, the daughter of John Jr. and Betty (Bland) Harris. She was a free spirit who loved her family deeply.

Lisa is loved and will be missed by her sister, Shara Lynn Durham of Belvidere;  brother, John Kevin Harris of New Hampshire, special aunt, Sally (Dennis) Farley; special uncle, Don (Barb) Bland; special cousins, Denny Ray Farley, Donny (Dana) Bland; niece, Bethany Harris; nephews David, Eric and Cody Durham; great-nephew, Aaron Durham-Stroud; special friends, Sue and Mike Barton; Carlos Conteras.  Lisa is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

The family would like to acknowledge the love and care given to Lisa by the nurses and staff OSF Hospice.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 21, 2014 in Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services at Buck-Wheeler-Hyland Chapel, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, IL with Rev.
