Lisa Jeannine Brooks, 62, of South Beloit, Illinois, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her loved ones on May 12, 2025, in South Beloit at Pearl Lake, her summer home. She was born April 7, 1963, in Sycamore, IL, daughter to Jessie Lee and Wanda Lou (Grant) Pritchett and Step-daughter to Jim Alsup. Lisa was a 1982 graduate of Sycamore High School. She met the love of her life, Michael Brooks while working at King Crispy in Freeport. She married Michael on September 23, 1989, in Freeport, IL. They moved to Belvidere, IL where they raised a family whom she loved dearly. She worked at Sam's Club in Rockford for 34 years in the shipping and receiving department. After retiring, Lisa and Mike would travel the states for the winter months in their motor home and then return to Pearl Lake for the summer months to enjoy time with family and friends. She loved to travel anywhere she could have a cold drink and her toes in the sand. Lisa enjoyed taking four wheeling trips on the trails up north. She enjoyed going out to dinner with friends and maybe throwing a $20 in the slot machine too! Lisa was also a life time member of the VFW in Belvidere. Lisa's personality brought warmth and joy to everyone she encountered, she will be truly missed.

Lisa's memory will be cherished by her husband, Michael; children, Ashlee (Mitchell) Gunn, Aaron (Rebecca) Brooks, Trisha (Cory) Yoder and Jayme (Kassi) Brooks, Sr.; siblings, Debbie (Doug) Dittbenner, Bill (Trish) Pritchett, Tom (Sandy) Pritchett and sister- in- law, Jackie (Bob) Shaffer; grandchildren, Dyllan Brooks, Isabella Brooks, Kyliee Brooks, Abigail Brooks, Jayme Brooks, Jr., Parker Owen, Frankee Gunn and Brooks Gunn; nieces and nephews, Jamie (Scott) Wheeler, Grant and Tylania Dittbenner, Elliott and Jarrod Pritchett, and Corinne, Timmy, and Tony Castle.

She is preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Wanda and Jim Alsup; and father, Jessie Pritchett.

Her visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m., followed by a funeral service, Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, IL. 61008.  Pastor Brandon Nelson will officiate.
