Linda Combs Sigwards, 56, of Rockford passed away March 8, 2022 in her home. Born in Belvidere, IL on July 14, 1965 to Paul and Kay (Johnson) Combs. After graduating from Belvidere High School in 1983, Linda went on to earn her Bachelors of Finance from Indiana University. She began her career working for Target Headquarters in Minneapolis, MN and quickly found that she desired more. Linda returned to school to earn her nursing degree from St. Anthony School of Nursing. She spent the next thirty years of her life working as a Registered nurse for Rockford Ambulatory Surgery Center, Swedish American Hospital and OSF Hospital. Linda was a creative soul, and a talented crafter. She enjoyed her many years at the family cottage in Wisconsin, fishing, laughing and spending time with nature.

She will be dearly missed by her parents, Paul and Kay; children, Rachel Ann Schier, Jacob Sigwards and Elaina Rose Sigwards; father of her children, Jim Sigwards; brothers, David Combs and Jeffrey (Jean) Combs; grandchildren, Hunter Shane and Adelina Lynn Costello; nephews, Tanner and Riley Combs and niece, Sofia Elizabeth Combs.

Preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Lester and Edna Combs and maternal grandparents, Robert and Ella Mae Johnson.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Anderson Funeral & Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, IL., with Rev. Jim Bell officiating. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. prior to the service. Memorials may be made to The American Diabetes Association.
