Linda Neubert, 71, of Byron, IL, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2025. Born on December 15, 1953, in Belvidere, IL, she was the beloved daughter of Velma (Stine) and George Lee.

Linda dedicated her life to family and the service of others. A true advocate for children, she worked for many years with the Department of Children and Family Services, primarily serving Winnebago and Boone counties. Her compassionate spirit led her to foster over 40 children throughout her life, and she also provided respite care to families in need. Her devotion to the well-being of every child she encountered left a lasting impact on countless lives.

On January 8, 1972, Linda married the love of her life, Daniel Neubert. Together, they shared 53 years of love, laughter, and unwavering partnership.

Linda had a passion for crafting and took great joy in showcasing her creations at the Byron Hairy Cow Farmers Market. More than just a hobby, her crafts were made with love and the intention of bringing joy to children—something she cherished deeply.

She will be remembered for her kind heart, generous nature, and her ability to make those around her feel truly cared for. Linda had a heart of gold and touched the lives of many. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Linda is survived by her loving husband, Daniel Neubert; their children, Heather Johnson, Andrea Neubert, Melissa Neubert, Autumn (Joanne Olson) Neubert, Daniel (Tracy Janssen) and Richard Neubert; sister, Cathy Sell, grandchildren, Hannah Johnson, Christina Johnson, Lincoln Neubert, Sloane Neubert, and Maddison Neubert. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family whom she loved dearly.

Linda is welcomed into heaven by her parents George and Velma Lee; son, Keinen Neubert, and 6 angel babies.

Linda's visitation will be Thursday, June 26th between the hours of 10-1pm at Anderson Funeral Home. Funeral service to follow at 1pm. Burial to follow at Belvidere Cemetery
