Linda "Diane" Gosnell-Lieber, 58, of Belvidere, passed away, Monday, October 03, 2016 in her home following a long illness. She was born July 4, 1958 in Hammond, IN, daughter of James E. and Betty (Gilland) Gosnell. She was a graduate of Belvidere High School, Class of 1976. She was employed by Warner Electric of Marengo and MTE of Rockford. Diane married Walter Lieber on December 27, 2008 in Belvidere, IL. She loved riding motorcycles, playing softball, going to the casino, and gardening. Most of all, she loved spending time with her granddaughter, Devan and her 2 cats. Diane was a huge supporter of the Wounded Warrior Project and Boone County Vets.

Diane is loved and missed by her husband, Walter; mother, Betty Gosnell; daughters, Jacqueline Lieber, Rachel (Robert) Palin, and Patricia Lieber; grandchildren, Devan Gosnell, Paige LaGrene, Kristin Nichols, Carolyn Sue Roberts; great-grandchildren, Colt White, Olivia Nichols, Shawnna White, and Samuel White; brother, Jay Gosnell; daughter-in-law, Jaclin Gosnell, aunts, Eunav Wilcox and Alice Shelton; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends, Jenny Drake, Kathy Blair and Linda Decker. Diane is preceded in death by her beloved son and hero, James "Jimmy" Gosnell, and father, James E. Gosnell.
