Linda A. Frykholm, 67 of Loves Park, IL passed away peacefully, Tuesday evening, March 10, 2015 in Lincolnshire Place after a lengthy illness.  Linda was born December 20, 1947 in Richland Center, WI the daughter of Deloss J. and Helen V. (Swain) Turnipseed.  She graduated from Belvidere High School and was co-owner of Superior Dry Wall for many years.  Linda married Ronald Peterson on June 22, 1968, he preceded her in death in 1999; she then married Paul Frykholm on June 24, 2006.  She attended Willow Creek Community church in South Barrington, IL and more recently Hope Evangelical Free Church in Roscoe.  Linda was instrumental in founding the Belvidere-Boone County Food Pantry, spending many years volunteering and financially supporting the pantry.  She enjoyed gardening, riding her horse and being outdoors.  Linda truly enjoyed the simpler things in life.  Linda also enjoyed international travel, visiting places such as South Africa, Australia, and Ireland where she honeymooned with her husband Paul.

Linda is loved and will be missed by her husband, Paul of Loves Park; children, Wendy (Brad) Bartell of Garden Prairie, Dawn (Tim) Klein of Capron, Erik Peterson of Capron, Erik (Kim) Frykholm of Haddonfield, N.J., Annika (Ryan) Knight of Nashville, TN; brother, John (Lawanna) Turnipseed of Belvidere; grandchildren, Jessica, Jordan, Rebecca, Taylor, Alex, Megan, Ryan, Taylor, Sarah, Katherine, Kylie, Conor and Liam; niece, Angie (Charles) Adams.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband and nephew, Jason Turnipseed.

Linda's family acknowledges the love and care given by the staff of Lincolnshire Place and Transitions Hospice to Linda during her stay, we are grateful.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 14, 2015 in Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services at Buck-Wheeler-Hyland Chapel, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, IL with Rev. Dr.  Edward "Mickey" Klink, pastor of Hope Evangelical Free Church officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, March 13, 2015 at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Long Prairie Cemetery, Capron.  In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Linda A.
