Linda J. Anderson of Belvidere, IL, died June 10, 2024, in Belvidere. She was born in Belvidere, daughter to Erich and Stella (Mengeling) Genz. Linda received her bachelor's degree and worked as a Circuit Court Clerk. Linda married her sweetheart, Steven Anderson on May 24, 1996, in Rockford, IL.  She was a life long member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Belvidere and belonged to the Chamber of Commerce. Interests include sailing and reading. She was an avid traveler and loved to spend time in the Winter Haven area of  Florida with her best friend, Joy. She also loved to spend time with her cherished family and grandkids.
She will be loved and missed by her husband, Steven Anderson; children, Stella (Mike) Snyder, Katie (Martin) Kasten, David (Nichole) Anderson, and Charles Anderson; brother and sister, Bruce Genz and Kay (Richard) Staskal; grandchildren, Bryan, Megan, Max, Brett, Troy, Lindsey, Kennedy, Christian, Trevor, Teagan; great grandchildren. Jackson, Stella, and Isabella, best friend, Joy Walberg; and multiple nieces and nephews.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents. Erich and Stella.
Services will be private. A celebration of life at a date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, and her honor, buy  ice cream and think of her while you enjoy it. Her favorite flavor was "Yes!"
