Lillian B. Moore, 99, of Belvidere, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2011 in Maple Crest Care Center. She was born November 26, 1911 in the home of her parents, Chris and Elsie Petersen of Maple Park, Illinois. She married Clarren L. Moore of Elnora, Indiana on February 2, 1932 and lived in Indiana for four years. Then moved to Poplar Grove in 1936 and farmed there until the time of Clarren's death in 1970. She then moved to Belvidere. To this union five children were born. Robert (Frances) Moore, Lois (Dan) Richmond, Kenneth (Xin) Moore, Suzanne "Marilyn" Petersen, and Donna (Ron) McDaniel. She also has 12 grandchildren , 24 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her son, Robert and 2 grandsons, David Moore and Jeff Smith. She was a member of the Moose and First United Methodist Church.

Memorials may be made to the family in her name for a memorial fund to be established at a later date.
