Lillian A. Kleive, 98, of Rockford, formerly of Capron, died Tuesday, June 12, 2007 in Provena St. Anne Center following a long and productive life. She was born November 17, 1908 in Harvard, Illinois, the daughter of John and Lillian (Gilliland) Hoy. Lillian married Harry Kleive in Belvidere, Illinois on October 14, 1930. She took great care of her family as a homemaker. Lillian was a member of the Capron Lutheran Church and the Capron Grange. She was a charter member of Capron T.O.P.S. Lillian loved music and all things Irish. In her spare time, she was a proficient in needlework and a good fisherman. She attended Harvard High School. She is survived by her two daughters, Harriett (Donald) Anderson, Rockford; and Julie Kleive, Capron, Ill.; Grandson, John (Karen) Anderson, Cherry Valley, Ill.; two great-granddaughters, MaryKate and McKenna Anderson; a sister-in-law, Ida Carlson, Clinton, Wis. Preceded in death by her parents, Husband and sister, Margaret Kalmar. A special thanks for the care extended to Lillian by the Staff of the West Wing at Provena St. Anne Center.
