Lillian L. Copp, 90, of Rockford, Illinois, died Tuesday morning, October 3, 2006 in Alden Alma Nelson Care Center after a lingering illness. Lillian was born February 8, 1916 in Rockford, IL the daughter of John and Augusta Anderson. She married Emmett Copp on April 4, 1937 in Rockford. She retired from Mechanics Universal Joint after 37 years. Lillian enjoyed crafts and needle point work, word books and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lillian made friends easily and the neighborhood children fondly called her "grandma".Survivors include her children, Carol Burns and Gerald "Jerry" Copp; grandchildren, Wendy (Mike) Klock, Tom (Patty) Flaningam; great-grandchildren, Brittney,Tilur and Emily Flaningam, Karly and Kendra Klock, Nathan Bonilla; numerous nieces and nephews including special nieces Dolores Deml and Aldine Thomas and special friend, Zennon Flaningam.Lillian is predeceased by her parents, husband, two brothers and two sisters.

A memorial will be established in her memory.
