Lilia Larez, 49, of Belvidere, IL passed away Tuesday afternoon, November 9, 2021 in her home after a brave battle with cancer.  Lilia was born October 25, 1972, in Ameca, Jal., Mexico the daughter of Francisco Medina and Maria Hilda Fregoso.  She married Octavio Larez on January 28, 2005 and they were blessed with the birth of two beautiful daughters, Gabriela and Liliana.  Lilia spent her time loving, caring and raising her family.  She was a devoted mother who gave impeccable guidance to her daughters. She was a loving and supportive wife to her husband.  She was a faithful daughter to her mother. Lilia enjoyed walks in the park, playing her guitar and praying to her Lord and Savior, Jesus.

Lilia is loved and will be missed by her husband, Octavio; daughters, Gabriela and Liliana; mother, Maria; brothers and sisters, Salvador, Maida, Francisco, Domitila, Oswaldo and Heriberto. She is preceded in death by her father, Francisco and brother, Jose.

The visitation for Lilia will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, November 11, 2021, at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Avenue, Belvidere, IL.  The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 12, 2021, at St. James Catholic Church with Rev. William Schussler as celebrant.  Burial will be in St. James Cemetery.  Memorials can be given in care of the family.
