Lila Mae Richart, 86, formerly of Belvidere, died in her residence at the Sierra Vista Retirement Center in Victorville, CA, on Saturday, June 23, 2007. She was born in Belvidere on May 11, 1921, the daughter of Willard and Dorothy (Hood) Dunbar. A member of the Belvidere High School Class of 1940, she married Lee Richart on June 21, 1940. A Belvidere resident from 1921 to 1990, she was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Adeline Chapter, Order of Eastern Star. A wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she also served as the restaurant manager at Dodge Lanes for nearly 20 years.Survivors include her daughter Marcia L. (Rev. James) Hyland of Phelan, CA; her son Lan R. (Pamela) Richart, Chicago, IL; grandchildren Kelley and Tracey Hyland, Christie and Jon Richart, and Sarah Hermann; and great-grandchildren Stephanie, Chaz, and Trevor Hyland, Aidan and Kyle (Richart) McIndoe; a brother Bill Dunbar; sisters Marguerite Whitman, Muriel Wagner and Coralyn Coppernoll. Lila was predeceased by her husband, infant son Danny, and brother Harry Dunbar.
