Lewis H. Graf, 76, of Rockford, died Tuesday, evening, June 26, 2007 in his home following a long illness. Born May 28, 1931 in Rib Lake, Wisconsin, the son of Ervin and Fern (Bailey) Graf. He has lived in Belvidere since 1962, moving here from Medford, Wisconsin. Lewis married Patsy E. Seiffert in Hayward, California on August 1, 1954. He was employed as a repairman for Chrysler Corporationfor 28 years retiring on July 31, 1990. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the Air Force. Lewis was a member of the Cherry Valley United Methodist Church; the U.A.W. Local 1268. In his spare time, he enjoyed camping, fishing and golf; woodworking, landscaping, playing games and working on cars. He is a graduate of Rib Lake (Wisconsin) High School and also from Rock Valley College where he received an Associate in Science degree in Accounting. Lewis is survived by his four children, Roxann (Ronald) Kamp, Rib Lake, Wis.; Luann Baxter, Cherry Valley, Ill.; Brian Graf, Rockford; Kari (Joseph) Eisner, Medford, Wis. six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marcy Peterson, Medford, Wis.; Thelma Klein, Wausau, Wis.; three brothers, Ervin Graf, Jr. Medford, Wis.; Darrell Graf, Rockford, Ill.; William Graf, Whitee, Wis. Lewis is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Patsy in 1996 and son-in-law, Bradley Baxter.
