LeRoy Arthur Koltz, 91, of Belvidere, IL, passed away May 24, 2023 at OSF Hospital in Rockford, with pneumonia. He was born on August 11, 1931 in Belvidere and attended Belvidere schools. The son of Arthur and Fern Koltz. LeRoy was a deeply devoted husband, father and grandfather. In 1948 he enlisted in the US Marine Corp and proudly served 4 years, from 1948-1952. On April 9, 1955 he married the love of his life, Eva, and together they shared 2 children, Sherri and Rick, and 68 years of marriage. He was a dedicated employee at Belvidere Products Company, and served as an enameller, for over 47 years. LeRoy enjoyed spending his time cooking out, camping, fishing, playing cards, and most importantly, quality time with his family. He is loved and will be missed by his family and many friends.

He is survived by his wife, Eva; daughter, Sherri (Pat) Gendron; sister, Connie Schuring; granddaughter, Alicia Glaser; great-grandchildren, Owen, Mylee, Katelynn and Teigan (Alexia) Glaser of Glendale, AZ; great-great granddaughter, Lilly Glaser; and numerous nieces and nephews, whom he loved dearly. He is welcomed into heaven by his son, Richard "Ricky" Koltz; his parents, Fern and Arthur; brother, Larry Koltz; and infant sister, Judy.

LeRoy's visitation will be Thursday, June 1, 2023 between the hours of 5-7 PM at Anderson Funeral & Cremation Services, located at 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, IL 61008. Funeral service will be Friday, June 2, 2023 at 12pm at Anderson Funeral & Cremation Services. Burial at Highland Garden of Memories.
