Friendship, WI

Leonard E. Swanlund of Friendship, WI passed away November 11, 2015. He was the son of Fred and Anna (Linder) Swanlund. Born June 8, 1921 in Eagle River WI, where he grew up with his three brothers and sister. Leonard served his country as a military police officer and was stationed at Camp Grant, IL during World War II. Upon his honorable discharge from the Army, he remained in Illinois where he was self-employed as a gifted mechanic.

He is survived and will be missed by his brother Leroy (Arlene) Swanlund of Belvidere,IL, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Leonard is predeceased by his parents; brothers, Paul and David Swanlund; Sister, May Bowers.
