Leonard L. Redeker, 77, of Garden Prairie, IL passed away Sunday evening, October 11, 2015 at OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center. Leonard was born February 18, 1938 in Palatine, IL, son of Ernst and Elfrieda (Kastning) Redeker. He married Darlene Cox on June 14, 1958 in Roselle, IL. Leonard was a dedicated farmer. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Belvidere, IL. Leonard enjoyed cutting grass, coin collecting and playing cards at the Keenage Center. He was a member of the Farm Bureau.

Leonard is loved and will be missed by his loving wife, Darlene, children, Kenneth Redeker, Brenda (Brad) Fidder, Pamela Redeker; grandchildren, Tiffany Redeker, Tracey Redeker, Benjamin Fidder, and Brandon Fidder. He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Howard Redeker.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Belvidere, IL 61008 with Rev. Allan Buss officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00-11:00 A.M., Thursday, October 15, 2015 at the church. Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church in Leonard's name.
