Leonard John "Bud" Nelson, 68, of Belvidere, IL, passed away at 10:40 AM, Sunday, February 26, 2006 at his home.Bud was born on March 15, 1937 in Bartonville, IL the son of A. Leonard and Mary (Gall) Nelson. He married Charlene M. Kuhn on September 1, 1957 at San Jose United Methodist Church in San Jose, IL.He survived by his wife and one daughter Kim Wheeler and her husband Darryl, of Belvidere; one son, Kyle Nelson and his wife Cheri of Coral Springs, FL; three grandchildren, Chelsey Joy and Brendan Nelson Wheeler and William Leonard Nelson; three nieces and six nephews. Bud is predeceased by his parents and sister, Mardell Ragsdale.Bud retired in 2005 from Melgreens Furniture, after 32 years as a Canton, IL business man. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Belvidere. Before retiring, he was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Canton, IL
