Lawrence C. Robinson, 68, of Belvidere, IL died Monday evening, February 23, 2009 in his home after a sudden illness. Larry was born August 4, 1940 in Eagle Bend, Minnesota the son of Theodore and Mae (Erickson) Robinson. Larry was a machinist and also worked for a siding and remodeling company. He served in the US Army from October 1961 to October 1963 being station stateside. He was a former member of the American Legion Boone Post 77 and the Eagle Club. Larry was a collector of fine things, enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles, going to garage sales, and being with people.He is survived by his sisters, Helen J. Mapes of Belvidere and Jessie Parsons of Delaware, OH as well as several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to the American Diabetes Foundation in Larry's memory.
