Our angel, Laurie Ann Evens, 55, of Belvidere, IL, gained her wings on November 1, 2020 in Belvidere. Laurie was born on December 10, 1964 to Russell and Shirley (Rubeck) Van Dusen in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She married her loving husband, Brian Evens, on May 25, 1984 in Paynesville, Minnesota. Laurie obtained a bachelor's degree of science and management. She worked for ADT Security Services as a District Sales Manager for many years. Laurie loved being outdoors and cruising on a motorcycle. Most importantly, she loved her grandchildren, her furbabies, and spending time with her family. Laurie will always be remembered for her beautiful smile and her love for others.

Laurie will be dearly missed by her husband, Brian; parents, Russell and Shirley Van Dusen; children, John (Mary) Evens, Tonya Evens-Crumpacker, Justin (Elizabeth) Evens, and Michael (Shannon) Stringini; siblings, Kevin Van Dusen and Tina (Mark) Garshva; her 6 grandchildren, Gabriel, Ella, Wesley, Adriana, Kylee, and Liliana; mother-in-law, Ruth Goble; sisters-in-law, Tammy Kaske and Kim Borum; her many nieces and nephews; and her chosen family, Paul and Kim Rabe.

She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Pearl Evens and stepfather-in-law, Don Goble.

The walk-through visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. on Friday, November 6, 2020 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, IL, 61008. The graveside ceremony will be at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, November 6, 2020 at Highland Garden of Memories. Rev. Scott Nellis will officiate.
