Larry R. Frederick, 78, of Belvidere, IL, passed away peacefully, Thursday evening, January 11, 2018 at Swedish American Hospital. Larry was born May 29, 1939 in Mount Carroll, IL, the son of Ralph and Ethel (Yoeman) Frederick. He married the love of his life, Sharon Bach, on June 15, 1958, in Savanna, IL. Larry was employed by Chrysler Corporation for 30 years, and was a member of the UAW 1268. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, model trains, and old cars. Most of all, Larry loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Larry is loved and missed by his wife of 59 years, Sharon; children, Annette (Charlie) Pax, Renee Rasmussen, and Donald (Jacqui) Frederick; 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren on the way; sisters, Arta Lou Shriner, Marita Myers, Ruby (Jim) Johnson; brother-in-law, Dick (Sherry) Bach, sister-in-law, Brenda Bach; numerous nieces and nephews and his furry companion, Luke. He was preceded in death by his parents, mother and father-in-law, A.J. and Thelma Bach; son-in-law, Ronnie Rasmussen, and grandson-in-law, Dan Thorell.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008 with Rev. Monty Fox officiating. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m., until 12:45 p.m., prior to the service. Burial in Belvidere Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
