Kody J. Henry, 23, of Machesney Park, Illinois, died Sunday, October 23, 2011 in Rockford Memorial Hospital. He was born May 27, 1988 in Rockford, Illinois; the son of Christopher J. Henry and Cynthia (Poulda) Speer. Kody attended Harlem Schools. He was a member of Blaine United Methodist Church. He enjoyed fishing and camping. Kody is survived by his mother, Cynthia Speer, of Elgin; his father, Christopher J. (Jeanne) Henry, Machesney Park, Illinois; a sister, Sommer Lundstrom, Machesney Park, Illinois; step-brothers and sisters, Michael Speer, Jordan, Hannah and Channing Richter; grandparents, Flo Henry; Delbert (Sharon) Poulda and Bonnie (Jerry) Perman. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Kaylee Henry; brother, Allen Henry; brother-in-law, Peter Lundstrom; nephew, Caedon Speer and grandfather, Al Henry. As his last act of kindness, Kody was an organ donor.
